Journal of Enery, Material, Instrumentation and Technology (JEMIT) as a means for researchers, lecturers, teachers, researching, and students to communicate knowledge, research results and observations, related to physics, both theory and its application. Articles can also consist of supporting physics which is supported by a background and theoretical physics that can be accounted for. Overall articles published in JEMIT have been review by reviewers and experts in their fields. Manuscripts received by JEMIT are written in Indonesia or English, which have never been published, or are not currently being discussed for publication in other journals or proceedings.
Manuscript Delivery
All submissions, reviews and publishing processes are carried out through the JEMIT website: http://jemit.fmipa.unila.ac.id/
The author first reads the ARTICLE REGISTRATION AND SUBMIT GUIDE before logging in as the author, then sends the article via the JEMIT website. During the process, writers should always check the JEMIT email and website.
The systematics of writing articles consists of article titles, author profiles (name, affiliation and email), abstracts and keywords, article content, gratitude (if needed) and bibliography. The content of the article contains an introduction, research methodology, results and discussion, and conclusions.
Margin
The article text was created using Microsoft Word with A4 paper rules, the top margin was 2.5 cm, the left margin was 2.5 cm, the bottom margin was 2 cm, and the right margin was 2.5 cm.
Header and Page Number
The number of pages in the article covering the title, introduction to bibliography is 4-15 pages. The page number is placed at the top right of the page in the font Bookman Old Style, measuring 10 pt. On the even page header, the name of the first author et al, the abbreviation of the publisher's journal is written along with the volume, number, and year of publication of the journal. The author et al's text was written in 8 pt Bookman Old Style and the journal abbreviated text was written in 8 pt Italic Bookman Old Style and aligned to the center. On the odd page header, the author's last name and first initial are written along with the complete article title, separated by commas. The text is written in Bookman Old Style, measuring 8 pt, aligned to the right and left.
Text dan Paragraph
The content of the article is written English in a one-column format with the text in the paragraph written in full according to the margins (right-left). The text of the article was written using the Bookman Old Style font, measuring 8 pt and single spacing with right-left alignment. Paragraph text in the article body is written with an indentation of 0.75 cm without additional space between paragraphs.
Title, Chapters and Sections
The article title is written concisely and can clearly explain the contents of the article. The title of the article is written in Bookman Old Style font, measuring 14 pt and in bold with the center alignment format. The first letter of each main word in the title is capitalized (Capitalize Each Word). The title is written with a single space and a space is added before the text (spacing before) 16pt and after the text (spacing after) is 10 pt.
The titles of chapters and sections in the article are written in Bookman Old Style font, measuring 8 pt and in bold and left aligned format. The title of the chapter and section is written in capital letters in each main word (Capitalize Each Word) and a single space with a space before the text (spacing before) of 12 pt and a space after the text (spacing after) of 12 pt. The titles of chapters and sections are numbered with a maximum of 2 numeric levels. If there is a sub-chapter, then it is written in numbering 1 level with italicized, without indentation and followed by the contents of the sub-sections as in the following example:
Author profile
Author profile consists of author name, affiliation, and email address. The author's name is written after the title of the article using the 10 pt Bookman Old Style font with the center alignment format. The text of the author's name is written with a single space and a space after the text (spacing after) is added at 12 pt. If the article is written by two authors, the names are separated by a conjunction "and". If the article is written by more than two authors, the names are separated by a comma unless the last two names are separated by a hyphen "and".
The author's first and middle name may be abbreviated using initials if they are too long without a full stop. If possible, it is permissible to write the full author's name. If the author comes from several agencies, at the end of the author's name, the affiliation is added using a footnote in a numeric format. If the authors come from the same agency, no need to add footnotes. If more than one email address is included, the author's name is also added with the ownership information of each email address using a footnote with a letter numbering format after the agency numbering. If you only include one email address, you don't need to add a footnote, just add an asterisk "*" as the main author or the corresponding author.
Affiliation is written after the author's name using the 8 pt Bookman Old Style font, centered and single spaced format. The writing of affiliation consists of one line for each agency with the contents of the name of the agency, name of the region (regency / city / province), full name of the country, and postal code. If the author comes from several agencies, all agencies are permitted to be written. At the beginning of the name of the agency, a footnote is added in the numeric format. If the author comes from one agency, no need to add footnotes.
The e-mail address is written in the footnote of the first page using a font size of 6.5 pt. If more than one email address is included, each email address is separated by a comma and a letter footnote is provided. Footnotes are written in front of the email address in letter numbering format. If you only include one email address, there's no need to add a footnote.
On the first page, a description of the time of submission and acceptance of articles is added in a format like this template. The text is written in italic (italic) Bookman Old Style letters with single spacing and measuring 8 pt with left aligned format.
Abstract
The manuscript should contain an abstract. The abstract must be written in English and Indonesian, a single paragraph, self-contained, citation-free, and should not exceed 250 words. An abstract is a brief summary of a research article, thesis, review, conference proceeding, or any in-depth analysis of a particular subject and is often used to help the reader quickly ascertain the paper's purpose and conlusion. When used, an abstract always appears at the beginning of a manuscript or typescript, acting as the point-of-entry for any given academic paper or patent application. Abstracting and indexing services for various academic disciplines are aimed at compiling a body of literature for that particular subject. (Bookman Old Style, Italic, 8 pt)
Bibliography
References used on articles amount to at least 15 articles, with 80% coming from the latest journals ( last five years). The bibliography must be written using Mendeley software in APA style (American Psychological Association). Some of the formats of APA style bibliography writing are as follows:
